"Toys and dolls come and go, but Teddy is always with us. Well at least since President Teddy Roosevelt took up with grizzly bears out west in the early years of the twentieth century. Since 1904 or thereabouts the fuzzy bruin has been childhood's favorite bedtime companion. Teddy is a snuggler and comforting pal, protector against things that go bump in the night. He's confidante, playmate, ally and fall guy. Most of us have a tatttered old Teddy tucked away in a corner somewhere, tugging at childhood memories, still available for a comforting confidence or two. The artist has painted a Valhalla for these beloved stuffed creatures, a splendid Victorian manse inhabited only by Teddy Bears and the children who love them." (Published by Scott Arts Graphics)
